Book #3- Mockingjay

Back Cover Summary:

Katniss Everdeen, girl on fire, has survived, even though her home has been destroyed. There are rebels. There are new leaders. A revolution is unfolding.
District 13 has come out of the shadows and is plotting to overthrow the Capitol. Though she's long been a part of the revolution, Katniss hasn't known it. Now it seems that everyone has had a hand in the carefully laid plans but her.
The success of the rebellion hinges on Katniss's willingness to be a pawn, to accept responsibility for countless lives, and to change the course of the future of Panem. To do this, she must put aside her feelings of anger and distrust. She must become the rebels' Mockingjay - no matter what the cost

My Review:

Once again, this is a re-read.
My least favorite book of the trilogy, the 3rd part of the book is my favorite because there's less Gale and more Peeta. District 13 bored me to tears and I'm sure the book characters felt the same way. President Coin made President Snow look like Santa Claus and I was thrilled by how Katniss ended that relationship.
I was upset when certain characters from the quarter quell died (i.e. Johanna and Finnick); but thrilled when Pollux the Avox got his time to shine and when Annie had her baby. I was also upset by the death of Prim. The book isn't bad, but I prefer the first two.

Overall:

I give Mockingjay a 4 out of 5!
